See how to add your domains to Afternic through the GoDaddy interface.
I list nearly all of my domain names on Afternic, but I don’t log into Afternic to list many of them. Instead, I use GoDaddy’s List for Sale feature that lets you list domains from within your GoDaddy account.
There are a number of benefits to doing this:
- Easier verification – GoDaddy knows you own the domains because they’re in your account
- A better UI for entering prices
- Automatically point your domains to For Sale landers without changing nameservers
Alas, the system isn’t perfect, including different UIs based on where you click to list your domains. But all in all, I find it to be the simplest way to list domains when they are at GoDaddy. (Dynadot offers similar functionality, by the way.)
In this video, I walk through how to list your domains for sale directly through GoDaddy and some things to be aware of.

Afternic is way better!
There was a minimum price and buy it now price in many cases while in Godaddy one does not see that.
They are also blocking the option of entering afternic except via Godaddy.

Afternic does have a minimum but I rarely use it – I just do buy now and floor

Great video! Note that you can tab between input fields in Afternic as well, you just have to press enter/space to activate the field. Once the input field is active, you can enter your price 🙂

Interesting, thanks for the tip!

great video! no option for opting for fast transfer?
Andrew Allemann says
If you put a “Buy now” price it will automatically be added for Fast Transfer, just like if you do this on Afternic. You will then receive the opt-in verification from GoDaddy.
