SteamEngine.com among company’s top reported sales for last week.
GoDaddy/Afternic teamed up for a better-than-usual $2.3 million worth of aftermarket domain name sales last week. Here are some of the sales made to end user. (As always, you may view previous end user sales lists.)
SteamEngine.com $38,000 – Data center company SWITCH. I imagine this is a brand.
MMSConnect.com $17,016 – Market technology company Demeure bought the domain name for its MMS Connect product, currently hosted at MMS.Demeure.com.
Veg.net $9,800 – Organic farming company Captiva Verde Industries Ltd

VoiceofChange.com $1,288 – Musician/inspirational trainer Suzanne Sterling
GardenCityVacations.com $2,500 – A vacation rental company in Mrytle Beach
GraniteLiquidators.com $2,388 – Rocky Mountain Forest Products. Who knew granite came from the forest?
StoryMine.com $5,000 – This was registered by an IT employee at Outbrain. I assume it was on behalf of the company, and StoryMine would make sense given its advertising products that monetize articles.
ParentingAcademy.com $3,899 – Colorado Christian, LLC
TheModernShop.com $5,000 – The Modern Shop in Ottawa, Ontario.
ContinentalLifeInsurance.com $2,600 and ContinentalHealth.com $5,400 – Continental Health Alliance in Tennessee
WheatFree.com $2,780 – Julian Bakery Inc in Oceanside, California
FrozenToys.com $1,480 – Uncle Milton Industries, a scientific toy company.
SomethingForMe.com $1,400 – Ruby Wallet, which does merchandising, fulfillment, and logistics support for retailers & manufacturers of diamonds and jewelry.
PinupVintage.com $1,975 – Retro collectibles company Bennie’s Fifties. The company doesn’t own the more logical VintagePinup.com.
Berriz.com $2,500 – Berriz, a design/build firm in Burke, Virginia
IESports.com $1,800 – Marketing company Isaac Daniel Group
