Afternic and GoDaddy sold a combined $1.6 million worth of domain names last week. This is lower than usual, possibly due to the holiday weekend in the U.S. Here are twenty domain sales that involved end users; view previous end user lists here.
AppDay.com $20,000 – GetJar, a mobile app discovery service.
StandardInsurance.com $25,000 – I’m a bit confused about who bought this one. It’s registered to ELI Research, which says it provides services related to “certification, training, market research, advertising, information services and cash flow management.” The Admin Street in whois reads “Inhealthcare LLC”.
VeganFitness.com $1,100 – The Vegetarian Site.
TrademarkMortgage.com $1,000 – Alternative asset management fund company Securities Capital.
DealerSearch.com $5,849 – Wilson Networks, LLC, owner of AutoDealers.net.
MerchantCashAdvanceLoan.com $1,800 – Investment firm Whetstone Holdings.
RLHCo.com $3,488 – Red Lion Hotels Corporation bought an acronym.
FloodPros.com $1,300 – Flood Pros, LLC in Nashville.
BigPictureSolutions.com $1,000 – AV firm Big Picture Solutions, Inc., which owns the matching .TV domain name.
DBS.org $6,500 – Digital Bible Society in The Woodlands, Texas (outside of Houston) bought its acronym.
CrimpingTools.com $9,000 – Iwiss Electric Co., Ltd in China bought this from Frank Schilling.
Solider.com $2,300 – Building firm Solider Inc, which has been using the less appealing solider-inc.com domain name.
LandscapeDesignSoftware.com $5,000 – Stucture Studios, creator of software for designing landscapes and pools.
LeadingWithLove.com $2,488 – Political advocacy group The Founding Family.
SewerMaintenance.com $1,788 – environmental consulting and remediation company Alpha Environmental. One of its services is sewer inspection.
NestEggRealty.com $1,800 – Wisconsin-based Land broker Roger Johnson.
EquipmentUSA.com $1,250 – Global Equipment Service, LLC in Dallas, Texas. It’s shorter than the HeavyEquipmentUSA.com domain it currently uses.
EduForm.com $3,388 – Educational Vistas, Inc., an education services and technology firm.
SOHOTraining.com $1,900 – Soho Sales Coaching in Singapore. It’s shorter than the SohoSalesCoaching.com domain they currently use.
Avyon.com $1,500 – Avyon Systems in Santa Clara, California.
