Award honors the late Lonnie Borck.
Internet Commerce Association (ICA) is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Lonnie Borck Memorial Award.
This award honors the legacy of Lonnie Borck, a domain investor who passed away in 2016.
ICA created this award in consultation with Lonnie’s family. After I was presented with the award last year, I received a note from Lonnie’s widow, Ronit, about how much the award meant to her family.
The award is given to someone who makes an exceptional contribution to fostering a sense of community within the domain name industry. You don’t need to be an ICA member to nominate someone.
ICA’s board reviews the nominations and approves the nominees, at which point ICA members vote on the recipient.
The 2024 award will be presented during the ICA member meeting in January in Las Vegas.
I nominate Elliot Silver, he spent nearly 20 years blogging daily about domaining on his http://DomainInvesting.com blog, sharing experiences, news, and tips… For the same reasons Andrew Alleman was awarded last year, he also deserves to win this award, plus he was a very close friend of Lonnie Bork.
I agree that he would be a fitting recipient of this award.
