Wireless.energy, Race.news among domains that sold.
Last week at NamesCon, new top level domain name company Donuts revealed 7 premium new TLD sales that were previously undisclosed. Here’s what the company sold and, based on my research, who bought them:
Live .chat at $125,000 – The buyer is unknown but it appears that the domain transferred just last month.
My.games $75,000 – This is an online video game site owned by MY.COM B.V. The Head of Corporate Communications’ LinkedIn profile suggests that it’s part of Mail.ru.
Go .live $75,000 – It seems that the domain transferred last year and the buyer is not readily apparent.
Race.news $25,000 – A coming-soon page states: “An exciting new motor sport and automotive news site is launching in 2020.” The buyer appears to be in Australia.
U.money $15,000 – Morses Club is a publicly-traded UK consumer finance company.
Wireless.energy $15,000 – SonicEnergy delivers long-range wireless power through ultrasound. It forwards the domain to sonic.energy.
International.business $15,000 – International Business LLC in Kyivska.
I hear water flowing, a loud flushing sound and the bowl filling back up again waiting for the next turd to drop.
Fake sales.
Proof? Or just a fake news scourge? You speak so blatantly, you must have more to say about it.
You’re just an internet terrorist, i’d say. You post drivel, only to upset people that value truth. You must hate good (truth) and honor evil (deception). That’s the way I see it.
Donuts now is competing against domainers by holding back best drops and then oferring them for sale on Dan, Sedo etc. They listed on Dan more than 10,000 domains for sale, of which many were previously reserved drops.
So, what was the purpose of reporting those sales, Donuts? Convince people to register the crap to bring you cashflow while keeping best drops for yourself?
They bought those extensions and can do what they like.
I must admit that I always thought that MS would grab the whole .live TLD. They missed an opportunity there?!
What opportunity?
Do you have rocks in your head snoopy?
All these unheard TLDs are just getting ridiculous. Soon you’ll find TLDs like .toldyouso and .superduper and it’s all starting to look like bitcoin, with .com being the actual bitcoin and the rest being worthless altcoins.
