A look at how registrars fared in the most recent public report.
Here are the top registrars in terms of new .com registrations for June. There were no changes in the top five order from the prior month.

When it comes to net inbound transfers for registrars open to the public (transfer gains minus transfer losses), Subreg.cz popped up on the list. This is probably a one-time blip.

2. MAFF Inc (XZ.com) +8,674
3. subreg.cz +8,247
4. GoDaddy +6,540

“these five registrars saw the biggest net outflow of .com domain names due to transfers:

Surprise !!! Surprise !!!
A friend of mine who owns a small business uses Netsol for a couple domains. He asked me “is it normal for a domain renewal to cost $ 70.” ?
He renewed a domain a day after it expired and they charged $ 35. renewal fee and $ 35. to re-instate the domain because it expired.
I’m surprised more small businesses don’t get out of netsol after being screwed. I guess that is why they make it difficult to transfer a domain out of netsol.
I’m not sure how many small businesses transfer their domains out. I suspect a larger percentage of outbound transfers are from domainers that one domains at NameJet. Perhaps I’m overestimating this volume, though.
Web. com is the Bernie Madoff of domain name registrars. David Brown and web. com management are the biggest shysters in America today.
David Brown is a clown and an empty suit. David Brown could not run a lemonade stand.
