An insurance company, a domain registration business, and a lingerie seller bought domain names.
Sedo publicly reported 45 domain sales of $2,000 or more for the past week. There are some nice domains in this batch, but it’s difficult to figure out the buyer for most of them.
The top two sales were xash.com for $39,000 and PokerPlus .com for EUR 25,000. Neither of these domains resolve yet, although it’s obvious what the second domain name will be used for.
Because the week was a bit slow, I went back to a sales list from about a month ago to add some additional domains for which the buyer can now be identified.
Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that completed at Sedo this month or last. You can view previous lists like this here.
Lessy.com $25,000- Lessy is a discount app for supermarkets.
Assepro.de €20,000 – Assepro is an insurance provider. It forwards this domain to the matching .com, and also uses assepro.online for its consumer login. Not a great company name in English!
Reg.de $20,000 – This is an interesting one. It appears Domain Robot bought this domain to sell .de domains. It is creating sales portals for other country codes.
FoxAdvertising.com $5,746 – Entertainment company Fox bought this domain name. It doesn’t resolve yet.
AldoCozzi.com $4,500 – Aldo Cozzi makes pasta machines.
LuxuryWorldwide.com $4,499 – Luxury Worldwide is a vacation booking service.
Royal-lounge.de €3,950 – Royal Lounge is a lingerie line. It forwards this domain to the matching .eu.
LaFora.com $3,888 – LaFora, “Your #1 Platform for Effortless Company Offsites,” forwards this domain to a LinkTree page.
Fru.co $3,000 – The buyer has uploaded a logo and a message that Fru is coming in 2025. The landing page doesn’t suggest what the business will be. The buyer managed to get the @fru Instagram handle.
MindReef.com $2,800 – MindReef is a NetSuite consulting firm in Nashville.
Creswell.com $2,200 – Creswell is a mechanical parts company. It forwards this domain to MyCresswell.com, so it was a nice upgrade for the company.
JoyAtWork.com €2,000 – Since it’s a slow week for finding end user sales, I’m going to include this even though we don’t know who bought it. They’re clearly an end user, as they moved the domain to Squarespace and set up a landing page.
Eisai.ca €2,000 – Eisai is a healthcare company. It forwards this domain to a subdomain on eisai.com.
