End user domain name sales from the past week.
You are getting sleepy…very sleepy…you will visit Domain Name Wire several times a day and visit the advertisers’ sites…
Oh, excuse me. I’ve gotten carried away after writing about Hypnosis.science selling for $3,000 to an end user this past week.
Sedo had a great week, selling $1.7 million worth of domain names. That total must include a big one that isn’t disclosed.
As for what’s disclosed and was purchased by an end user, here’s a list:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
IACC.co.uk £700 – International Associated Cargo Carrier in Egypt, which uses the domain name IACC.net.
EditFlow.com $2,500 – the domain name currently lists Fairwinds Partners as the registrant, so it’s likely for one of their clients.
iBroker.co.uk £4,000 – Trading Motion, SL, which provides a marketplace for automated trading programs.
SureRater.com $950 – Society Insurance. The company applied for a trademark for “SureRater” for an online insurance rating system back in June.
TVcats.com $795 – Video production company UPLGroup registered this domain under the name of CatsWorld Ltd.
CrowdSecurity.com $2,650 – Austin, Texas based security firm Praetorian.
The-Journal.com €899 – Local news company Ballantine Communications, Inc. I don’t see any publications on its website called The Journal, so perhaps it’s for a new publication.
Vinylizer.com $1,795 – Indie Pool provides music services to independent musicians in Canada. It offers vinyl pressing, so that’s probably what this domain name will be used for.
Prosperity.in €1,999 – World Institute of Scientology Enterprises. Probably to show off all of their prosperity.
Plasso.com €3,900 – online payments company Plasso decided it needed more than Plasso.co.
Mariquitas.com €1,000 – Ara Food Corp sells a food branded as Mariquitas. I could tell you what it is if you didn’t have to have flash installed to view anything on their website.
Bonnieundclyde.com €899 – Bonnie&Clyde GbR. I think this is a real design firm. They own the domain bonnieundclyde.com.de (no typo there).
DKLED.com £1,200 – Lighting company DK LED uses the domain name DKgroup-led.de.
mNotify.com $850 – Bulk SMS messaging company mNotify only had the .net domain before.
Hypnosis.science $3,000 – You think .science domains are free? Not for OmniHypnosis.
ADifferentOpinion.net £1,200 – American Fidelity Assurance Company offers supplemental life and health insurance through employers. It appears to have also recently purchases ADifferentOpinion.com.
LarsonText.com $2,100 – Larson Texts, Inc. produces math textbooks. It forwards the new domain name to LarsonsText.com.
GetImmunized.com $888 – Okaki Health Intelligence. All I can gather from the jibberish on its home page is that it helps analyze health information. Nice domain name at a great price.
Joseph Peterson says
Can it be that the Church of Scientology has a better domain strategy than most multinational corporations?
Now why have I simultaneously opened windows for BuyDomains, Directnic, 101Domain, Uniregistry, SnapNames, DomainSponsor, Dyn, Escrow.com, DomainCapital, and Sedo?
