Audio visual company uses .pro to promote its business.
Fellow Austinite and domain name investor Ramiro Canales must have done a double take when he was driving in traffic the other day. He sent me this photo:
Yes, that is a .pro domain name on the back of the van. It’s ConceptElectronics.pro, which is used by a home automation and audio visual company.
At the time the company registered the domain the matching .com, .net, and .org domains were registered. Given the profession, .pro was probably one of the better extensions still available.
And for those people who commented they didn’t like the www a local lawn company used before Mow.co, this one is presented sans www. I wonder how many people see this van and don’t realize it’s a web address?
(Thanks Ramiro, NameLitigation.com.)

But all his clients know because I’m sure they tell them the web address just like I do every day at facts.pro

Hey..they aren’t the first company either to use .pro….tech.pro is out there and others!

Dot pro will be one of the most successful nTLDs, because is short, well understood at every language around the world and, the most important, customers never forget the domain.
(Yes, I know that .pro is not a nTLD, but what is the real difference at this time? :-))

If they have underlined it, that would help a bit perhaps…
