A DAO, a construction company and a software business bought domain names.
I might sound like a broken record, but it’s getting more and more difficult to find out who bought domain names. With Whois blocked, I usually have to wait for the domain name to resolve to a new website to know who bought it.
So at the time I’m writing this, I can’t tell you who paid $74,888 for socrates.xyz, $49,491 for sumhome.com, and €25,000 for qm.de. All of these domains sold at Sedo this past week.
Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that just completed at Sedo that either resolve to a website already or have a public Whois. You can view previous lists like this here.
Adasoft.com $25,000 – Adasoft is a software company for factories and automation.
Wundertask.com $5,000 – This is an app for planning your day and scheduling tasks.
CryptoIdeas.com $4,995 – A DAO called Alliance is using this domain to showcase its web3 ideas.
Motorkit.fr €4,500 – Motorkit sells motorcycle parts. The .fr domain forwards to its website at motorkit.com.
UnitedBuilder.com $4,499 – United Builder is a construction company in New Hampshire.
Mahally.com $3,995 – Salla Application Company bought this domain. The founder is involved with multiple businesses, and I’m not sure what this is for.
WolfPup.com $2,500 – Someone is setting up a Shopify site on this domain.
Parcs.fr $2,016 – This domain forwards to parc-attraction-loisirs.fr, a website about amusement parks.
