New user interface launches in beta.
Domain name registrar NameBright has never had a particularly modern interface. That’s changing a complete makeover, now available in beta.
Not only is the old orange color scheme out in favor of purple, but the modernized interface is also easier to use.
The biggest improvement is that the new site is mobile-friendly. Until now, visiting NameBright.com on your mobile phone meant a lot of pinching and scrolling.
Some features of the old interface aren’t as obvious in the new one to me yet, such as how to export your domain list. But it’s a beta, and it should improve over time.
NameBright is best known for being the registrar where your DropCatch.com domains land. Yet it might be able to grab more market share with these improvements.
One of the biggest selling points is “at-cost pricing” for .com and .net domains. NameBright charges registrants the same as its wholesale cost for these domains when customers pre-fund their accounts with a wire transfer or check.
The new interface is available at beta.namebright.com.

NameBright was already technically superior, so I’m happy to see that they took time to fix their visual identity and interface. Great work!
(Makes me wonder when Sedo will leave their 2005 tech and look behind) 😀
