“You should drop the micro.”
MicroAcquire has purchased the domain name acquire.com and plans to rebrand.
The company’s founder, Andrew Gazdecki, discussed the idea of rebranding on Twitter last week.

MicroAcquire is a platform for buying and selling a business. It started as a site to buy and sell very small businesses but has expanded since then. Hence, “micro” pigeonholed the company.
Today, Gazdecki announced that the company bought acquire.com:

It appears the acquisition occurred after Gazdecki announced the potential name change. A public Whois record on October 27 shows MySite Corporation in Seoul as the registrant.
I interviewed Gazdecki on Domain Name Wire Podcast #387.
