A unique service using blockchain wants to help companies prove their rights in common law trademarks.

Billed as a “common law trademark registry”, it will be interesting to see if Cognate can assist people in cybersquatting disputes and establishing common law trademark rights in names. Also: WannaCry domain registration, ICANN’s tax return and Google Voice.

    Just take an eye at the site, it look likes a vertical application of what we are doing at PROOF.com these past years, timestamping documents in the Bitcoin blockchain.
