Not much change in latest month of data.
ICANN has published the latest .com transactions report from registry Verisign, showing official results from July.
There were few major changes this month compared to last month, other than HiChina making an entrance in the transfer loss category. Uniregistry continues to lead the transfer gain category, doing even better than it did in June.
Here are the top 5 registrars in July in terms of new .com registrations:
1. GoDaddy* 825,244
2. Rightside** 192,464
3. HiChina 134,415
4. Tucows 113,277
5. PublicDomainRegistry 88,340
Here are the top five registrars for net inbound transfers:
1. Uniregistry +21,089
2. EIMS.cn +18,869
3. Mesh Digital +13,149
4. eName +11,639
4. Google +7,423
On the flip side, these five registrars saw the biggest net outflow of .com domain names due to transfers:
1. Tucows -22,563
2. HiChina -18,142
3. Web.com*** -9,839
4. GoDaddy -9,371
5. Fabulous -7,614

Endurance owns a ton of different domain registrars. If someone can give me a solid list I can add them up.

They run $1.99 .COM sales like every other day. Speaking of which, it just started back up now. I’d find it hard to imagine they’re not getting tons of registrations from these sales.
