A firefighting equipment manufacturer, event crew provider and celebrity news site bought domain names last week.
Sedo handled 697 domain name transactions this past week, for about $1 million in sales. This includes a number of solid end user domain name sales in the five figure range, such as YouConnect.com and Cardx.com for $20,000 each.
Here’s a look at end user domain name sales from the past week on Sedo:

Aftermaster.com $14,000 – Aftermaster Audio Labs says it has cool technology for better sound recording and playback.
Great list of domains. The one transaction that made me think was Opex.net. Not only is this one a .Net but it seems to have been directly based on that company’s name. I assume there was no trademark in place and this is what made this a possibility.
I am curious because in some cases instead of selling a domain like this to the company that owns the .com you get into trouble and deal with a lawsuit battle for it.

I suspect that, as both a four character domain and a financial term, the owner was pretty safe here.
This seems to break the two week streak of a buyer being – some random person named… Buying theirname.something
I was looking forward to seeing it this week 🙂
Great list of domains here. I always enjoy reading these.
