End users buy domain names for up to $109,000.
Domain name marketplace Sedo had a banner week, closing 543 transactions for a larger-than-normal $1.8 million tally.
The sales were led by Mercari.com, bought by the maker of the Mercari app. Mercari has been downloaded over a million times. A number of other five figure sales are currently still in escrow or have private whois records.
Before we get to the list, be sure to check out this week’s Podcast with Sedo CEO Tobias Flaitz.
