Cast your vote for the best domain name forum.
For many years, there have been two major domain forums, DNForum and NamePros. Behind that were a number of smaller forums. While that remains true, some shakeup is in progress. DomainState, a smaller forum, has been put on the auction block. Hopefully DomainState, which has a very different audience and feel than the larger forums, sticks around. It seems that bidding interest is high.
But which domain forum is best? It’s a question that has been on the Domain Name Wire survey for the past five years, and it’s always a close vote.
This year the question is the same as always, but we’ve promoted Domain Boardroom to the multiple choice selection this year. It has frequently been a top write-in vote, so it was time to add it to the list.

Domain Boardroom and IDNForums are my favorites.
The best board ?
Rick’s old board 3-5 yrs ago.
DNForum hands down.
I like NamePros interface best, always a wealth of info and domains to browse there.
DNForum is probably better if you are looking to buy and sell domains. Although recently there has been quite a bit of drama with overly heated political discussion, mod changes and site appearance changes.. Which btw vBulletin 4 which was just installed at DNF is really not an improvement at all.
One forum that is not mentioned often is Rick Latona’s ccTLDS.com. I really think that it’s a gread board with lots of potential. I bet discussion and sales start moving at a faster pace there this year.
I finally just applied to domainboardroom, hopefully I get approved there soon.

LOL I just abvout spit out my coffee when I read this, I vote this as the best domain joke of 2010 so far 🙂
As for who is the best, dnf hands down, it has bit of everything and the most important part of all, buyers.
Josh,
DNF use to be an informative and important forum. Today, it is just the same few guys bickering with each other.
As for buyers on DNF, it is strictly lowballers.
If a domain is worth $ 5-10,000 retail, $ 1,000 wholesale, the highest it would sell on DNF would be $ 50-100.
I will concede that DNF is the best among all of the different forums. It is just not as important to the industry as it use to be.
@DI, I think the lack of recent activity is caused by economic factors, not membership quality.
The other boards keep a tighter ship BUT I have seen little to no real business take place and at the end of the day I am not on the boards because Im 50, fat and live in mid america, its a business and frankly these know it all’s dont do any.
