Domain name aftermarket completes transfer of 3 six figure domain names.
Sedo had a “banner” week for domain name sales, including completing the transfer of Banners.com for $360,000. But that wasn’t the highest sale; LowFare.com changed hands for $365,000.
The sales prowess didn’t stop there. The company also completed the sale of pisos.net for a staggering 150,000 EUR, which easily makes the top ten list of published .net domain name sales of all time. “Pisos” means “stories” in spanish.
Other notable domain sales at Sedo this week include:
vicaso.com 10,000 USD
cardpay.com 7,000 USD
wuh.com 5,877 USD GreatDomains
pettalk.com 5,500 USD
aed.nl 25,500 EUR
telefonbuch-deutschland.de 19,500 EUR German telephone book
sonnerie.fr 18,500 EUR Ringing in French
betclick.it 7,500 EUR
betclic.it 7,500 EUR
blue-efficiency.de 7,000 EUR
glue.co.uk 6,675 GBP
sparkling.eu 4,500 EUR
wio.eu 4,500 EUR
rencontre.org 25,000 EUR Meeting in French
voyance.net 25,000 EUR Clairvoyance in French
Sedo’s sales pipeline is getting filled, too. The .mobi domain name auction ends tomorrow. So far the highest .mobi domain names to meet their reserves are Blackjack.mobi at $5,000 (this .mobi makes sense), and Bank.mobi at $5,000 as well.
Sedo has some other good auctions that have meet their reserves:
Rye.com $27,500
Glow.co.uk 20,010 £
Politics.info $15,250 (a spectacular price for a .info)
ForexTraders.com $8,000
Myic.com $5,000
Mack.info 5,000 EUR
Gbz $4,625 (24 bids)
gg.org $4,600
Proc.com $4,400
A more accurate translation for ‘pisos’ in this case would be flats or condos. This is the meaning that the buyer, a well known Spanish classified advertising company, wants to give the site.
Thanks Guillermo. I just used Sedo’s translation
WOW!
SEDO are certainly pulling off a killer week!
This is excellent news to the industry and proves there is still cash out there that people are willing to spend to own key digital investments.
Lets hope it continues for the rest of the year!

Doing well globally… Sedo is really well diversified compared to all the other aftermarket venues.
Good job.

I am a little surprised by the pettalk.com price. What does everybody else think of that domain ? Was it a good price to sell at or too much ?
