After dismal week for domain name sales, aftermarket is filling up pipeline.
Last week was a dismal one for completed domain sales, although the pipeline is full thanks to the TRAFFIC auction. Sales are also looking up over at Sedo.
Just a few minutes ago SeedsDirect.com sold for $20,000. The domain gets about 500 visits a month.
There are bigger sales on the horizon. All-In.com is active at $40,000 and will close on October 14. Government.net also has a bidder at $20,100. Hidden.com is attracting attention at $12,000 with two bidders. 867.com, a Canadian area code is at £7,000 and Tasers.com is $5,500.
There are also some active three character domain auctions including EVT.com, VXQ.com, and RMN.com.
Pockets not quite so deep? Here are some lower priced ones worth considering:
529fund.com – $1,000 – you know I’m a big fan of 529 plans
NothingPersonal.com – $850 – how many times have you been told it’s “nothing personal”? Maybe a break-up site.
DomainBlogs.com – $600 – could be a domain blog aggregation site
Guitars.biz – $510 – I just listed Tubas.biz for $20 at DNForum
Pitbull.info – $310 – could be interesting if Palin lands in the Whitehouse
Bid.info – £ 220 – with 16 bidders this one could get expensive

Also ending tomorrow…
FinancialAidZone.com
which gets over 100 visits a month. Considering the global financial crisis we are faced with, an excellent name at a very reasonable price. FinancialAid.com recently sold for six figures.

This weeks DN Journal Sales chart was quite disappointing to be perfectly honest. I felt like the global crisis has effected the industry immediately. However, Sedo’s recent sales are really optimistic.

Regarding Tasers.com, does anyone know if “Taser” is a brand name (TM Problem) or a generic type of weapon. I think that Taser is a brand name, like Kleenex (I’m not even sure what you call those things you blow your nose in if you don’t call them kleenex).
