My TrafficClub results for May were solid despite a glitch in Skeno’s reporting.
The paid domain parking business is growing by leaps and bounds and new companies are launching solutions every day. Leonard Holmes of ParkQuick offers great analysis of the domain parking news. Check out his latest post here at DomainNameWire.
If you’re a frequent reader of this blog then you know I’m a big fan of Moniker’s TrafficClub system. It helps me optimize my domains across various parking companies. Every month I share my results with TrafficClub.
In May my overall RPM at TrafficClub was $51.20. This is lower than April’s $57.90, but still a very solid number. My only dissapointment in May was that Skenzo’s reporting to TrafficClub was incorrect. Reports initially showed great results, only to be lowered a few days later. This isn’t TrafficClub’s fault, but it’s never fun to see your initial earnings go down. Here’s what TrafficClub had to say about it:
May 31, 2006 – Skenzo Adjustments. We discovered a reporting error in TrafficClub with Skenzo results. TrafficClub was not paid the amount being reported and therefore, we have not paid out earnings based on the erroneous reports. This has now been adjusted and the correct amount is reported in the system. April’s payments will be paid within the next 10 days. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and will do our best to ensure this error does not happen again.
I moved some domains parked at TrafficClub in previous months over to Parked.com, and will report on those results soon. Most of these domains were poor performers at TrafficClub, so removing these domains may have helped me stay above the $50 RPM threshold.
