.AI and .Tech domains among end user sales last week.
Sedo released its weekly sales data yesterday. The company has stopped releasing details on the number of transactions it completed and the total sales amount. I suspect this has something to do with the discussion that happened over at OnlineDomain.com a month or two ago. It’s a shame that we won’t get this data. But the reality is that it’s up to Sedo what it wishes to disclose, and I’m grateful that it continues to share some data while Afternic does not. It probably doesn’t make sense for the company to disclose data that will be used against it.
One of the company’s top sales last week was YoureFired.com for $9,600, a domain that I imagine will be used for political reasons involving Donald Trump. The domain name has whois privacy, so we won’t know who owns it until it’s put to use.
On the end-user front, a company paid $15,000 for a .tech domain, a bank bought a marketing name and amilitary technology company bought a .ai domain name.
Here are some end user domain name purchases from the past week:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
Bam.tech $15,000 – This appears to be an upgrade from Bamlab.fr.
F-Club.com €10,000 – Fashion TV, operator of a fashion site and owner of FTV.com. F-Club.com forwards to F-Club.eu.
Bierhoff.com €5,833 – A guy whose last name is Bierhoff. (update: as a reader pointed out, this is soccer/football star Oliver Bierhoff. Interestingly, it appears that he had filed a UDRP against the domain name.)
Air.ai $3,800 – a company called Milteq. Its main website at Milteq.us says it’s coming soon. It appears to be a military technology company. Anguilla’s .AI country code is popular for artificial intelligence companies.
CRKK.com $3,300 – Canyon Ranch books luxury spa vacations.
BinghamLaw.com $3,000 – based on the buyer’s email address, it appears to be a lawyer with the last name Bingham.
BankBlack.com $2,999 – OneUnited is a black-owned bank, and its marketing slogan is to “Bank Black”.
HiveVentures.com $2,250 – Hive organizes educational events for CEOs and leaders. It uses the domain name Hive.org.
Jaegor.org €2,150 – a guy whose last name is Jaegor.com.
Wine-Guide.com €2,000 – This domain was bought by the owners of Antique-Guide.de, which recently bought Art-Guide.com through Sedo for $4,000.

These prices seem low.wtf

Yes agreed, very low as market is bit slow. I guess some sellers are willing to keep cash flowing and others just sit and wait for bigger buyers.
