Michael Feeley latest to join Domain Holdings.
If you’ve been in the domain name industry for a long time and are thinking about making a move, I suggest you give Domain Holdings a call.
The company’s latest addition is Michael Feeley as vice president of sales.
To say Feeley has been in the industry for a while is an understatement. I still remember at the turn of the century when Feeley would call me to pitch me on Kanoodle, a pay-per-click company he co-founded. (OK, using “turn of the century” may make it sound like a lot longer ago.)
He joins Domain Holdings from Sendori. Prior to that he did sales for domain parking company Dotzup.
Other recent industry hires at Domain Holdings include Alan Dunn and Jim Grace. Moniker founder Monte Cahn recently signed on as Executive in Residence.

…and yet nobody is using them for domain parking? Anyone care to comment?
I can not find anyone at all using them besided Berkins and he is apparently not saying whether they are good or not.
What gives with this company and all their reports of improved performance, yet nobody will chime in whether they are good or bad.
I tried them for 10 days and the earnings were SO low I left. I’m not hanging around to see improvement if you cut my PPC earnings over 50% day one.
Anyone have anything good to say about the service? Just curious to hear something good or bad.

I remember being pitched about Kanoodle as well and I think we used them back in the day. Good luck to Michael and Domain Holdings.

With so many vice presidents, … I am wondering who is working in that company 🙂

The problem with ANY parking solution comes down to one thing:
Google Controls Everything.
It doesn’t matter how cutting edge the parking service is.
It doesn’t matter what the payout percentage or split is.
It doesn’t matter if they develop innovative features that make parked pages more like full blown web sites.
Because, when it comes down to the bottom line …Google decides what will happen.
Google decides that parking solutions will not be included or ranked in SERPS, (even if a parking provider offered such a unique product that it Really would benefit web surfers who visit the parked site/page).
Google decides whether they will pay for type in traffic that gets to the site.
They decide IF they will count the click or trash the click.
They decide IF they will pay for the click or Not pay for the click.
Google decides if they will pay decent money for the click or if they will pay pennies for the click.
They decide whether they will let the domain investor keep the earnings or whether they will claw back the earnings.
While it is true that this kind of rant can be called “Biting the hand that feeds you”, it does not change the facts.
I’m not saying that Google is an evil or bad company. They are obviously one of the most successful companies of our time. They seem to have the Midas Touch.
The problem is, they are So successful that there is no real competition. They rule. They make the decisions. They single highhandedly decide whether your online business will earn you a living or not.
So, as long as that is the status quot, ALL parking solutions will only be as successful as Google allows them to be.

I should not stupidely post when I am in an angry mood…
Sorry and congrats to Michael Feeley.

They need to spend less time pitching their parking … and more time selling their clients’ domains.
You know; like the “Domain Brokerage” in their slogan indicates they’re doing.
Expected more from a company with such a fine employee collection.
