Company continues to churn out aftermarket sales including a couple for six figures.
I’m a bit behind checking in on GoDaddy’s auction sales report for last month. But it was a great month for the service.
In total it sold 42,321 domains, headlined by the developed site psoriasis.com at $350,000. In second was AFW.com for $125,000, setting a pretty sturdy bar for a good three letter .com domain.
App.me sold for $50,000 as well.
As usual, sales were split fairly evenly between Buy Now and Auction sales, with only a relative handful of offer/counter-offer sales.
The top word contained in sold domains — no surprise here — was “online”. Other top keywords include blog, home, free, realestate, insurance, and music.

This is why they offer cheap reg on a name , its the ‘whole experience’ that works for them

It would be nice if their report showed stats such as those SEDO reports – sales by TLD, median sales price, sales volume by number of chartacters in the domain, etc.

I sold a premium .com with them at 20% fee.I was happy !
Yes,this is how they make the money among some other services.

Thanks for the link to the Auctions report.
Is there any way of knowing the breakdown on how many of these domain sales at Godaddy Auctions were “expired” domains vs “reseller” domains submitted for sale?
