Moniker launches lead gen web site to attract end user domain buyers.
Domain name registrar and brokerage company Moniker has started marketing the value of generic domain names to end users through a new web site, MonikerBrokerage.com.
The company registered the domain name in August. Today I saw an ad for it on Google Adwords:
![]()
The web site speaks to the SEO value of a good domain name, with the headline “Need a Big Boost from a Category-Leading Domain Name?” followed by:
Improve SEO with a Powerful Domain Name
Get a domain with highly relevant keywords, one that offfers (sic) instant traffic and branding advantages. The experts at Moniker Domain Brokerage can help you find and buy domain names that drive SEO.
Get a high-impact, 1-2 word domain name:* that instantly communicates what you do.
* that drives significantly more traffic to your site.
* that you can build a compelling brand around.
* that you thought was unavailable and out of reach.
The web site includes a lead gen form for visitors to enter keywords or domain names they’re targeting.

brilliant. I knew that Monte has a strong sales background. I’m really glad to see this type of initiative coming from Moniker.
I would be interested to know, what type of keywords the site is advertising for on adwords to try to attract end-users. In my mind, if a business owner searches for ‘domain brokerage’, its clear they already have a good understanding about the benefit of domain names. The trick is how to reach the as yet un-educated decision makers out there.

Looks like a good set up and I wish them well. I saw the domain at their tradeshow both but I didn’t hear it being talked about.
Andrew, as an aside, can you please explain the 11 tweets box to me?
I clicked on it and there is no content in the tweets.
Is just a list of people who tweeted that you posted the article?
What am I looking at? Seriously, I honestly don’t get the twitter thing.
Rob I think its just the number of people who retweeted the original tweet. not positive though
Ah, that makes sense.
So if I followed these 12 people I would get 12 tweets telling me about this article that I already read? :-0
Glad I’m not on twitter
Sorry to get off topic Andrew.
