SnapNames Opens Submissions for SnapNames Live Auction

Submission period for January 22-23 auction ends December 11.
SnapNames has opened submissions for its first live auction to be held at DOMAINfest Global in Hollywood, California next January. Both Snapnames and DOMAINfest are operated by Oversee.net.
Oversee.net continues to show it’s on the ball. Not only has it announced the complete calendar with deadlines for the auction, but there’s even a phone number to call with questions.
Here are the dates:
Submissions open: Nov. 14, 2007
Submissions closed: Dec. 11, 2007
Catalog available: Jan. 3, 2008
DOMAINfest Global: Jan. 21 – 23, 2008
Live auctions: Jan. 22 & 23, 2008
The auction will be held live as well as online. DomainTools held a successful online/offline auction at its Domain Roundtable event in August. DomainTools’ live auction interface was web based; SnapNames will have a downloadable program to participate.
Sellers will pay a 15% commission and will be under exclusive contract for 30 days after the auction.
In other SnapNames news, the company made a number of changes to its site yesterday, including improved searching and shopping cart functionality.
