DNForum.com owner Adam Dicker promises changes to ensure the site remains a “business forum”.
DNForum.com owner Adam Dicker announced a few days ago that changes are coming. In a post on the site, Dicker said:
I feel we have quite a few unprofessional people that are about to [be] banned in order to keep this a business forum. Please feel free to pop me up your top offenders list, remember the goal is to get rid of trash talkers and buy and sell domains,
Personal attacks will not be tolerated in any way, we are a tight knit communuty and must govern ourselves with respect in any situation.
Many, Many changes coming this week.
DNForum certainly seems to have lost some of its luster, and Dicker isn’t going to let that continue. He even provided his cell phone number in the forum to let people inform him of serious issues. The thread about the planned changes is now 12 pages long.
Among the changes planned:
-Docking members for making comments on sales forums and in other inappropriate ways
-Eliminating lifetime memberships. Current users will be grandfathered. New users will have to pay annually.
-More focus on content and what to do with a domain to increase its value
Dicker also said new ad campaigns for the forum will start soon.
