From Peb.com to Fidel.com, here are some notable domain name sales on NameJet last month.
NameJet sold 164 domain names over $2,000 last month for a total of $725,000. Here are ten sales that stuck out to me.
Peb.com $45,000 – I think the buyer will ultimately make a profit. This is a great pronounceable three letter domain name.
Fidel.com $16,000 – This domain sold just days before Fidel Castro’s death. I’m not sure the domain is worth this much as an investment.
ATTT.com $10,749 – Jaime Zoch and I discussed this domain on DNW Podcast #112.
Aeron.com $5,000 – The buyer is going to have to be careful about how they use this domain if they don’t want to fall afoul of Herman Miller.
ValueInvestor.com $3,688 – Might be the deal of the month. This is a fantastic domain for investment companies or a financial publication.
PaydayLoans.net $3,005 – Probably would have sold for more a year or two ago. I think this is a good price for the .net of a huge business…albeit one that is undergoing massive change.
Sweet.org $2,888 – .Org still has a certain cache, and I can see this making a decent candy store name.
GrantWriters.com $2,710 – Another solid buy. Lots of ads in Google for this term.
SpoilMe.com $2,655 – A Great brand for a luxury, clothing, or spa site.
DriverlessVehicle.com $2,600 – Definitely not the perfect driverless car domain, but it’s interesting to get a comp for this market.

Love Sweet.org. a steal of a price for it. I would certainly pay that if i was in that auction. Amazing brand, and sweet…. can be used for almost anything. And with sweets, .org doesn’t much at all. Word Sweet feels compassionate. You almost expect Sweet to be friendly aka .org

Sorry to ask, Andrew.
But what does this mean in plain English?
“..to get a comp for this market.”
Never heard of it..
Andrew Allemann says
To get a comparative sale value for other similar domains

@SEO hero,
“… to get a comp for this market”
=
” … to find a sale that can be used as a benchmark for comparison purposes when estimating the value of similar domains within the same market niche”
Plainer?
SEO HERO says
So much plainer.. Thanks Joseph!

Sorry, I didn’t see that Andrew had answered your question already because I didn’t refresh the browser tab.
Sometimes I can’t resist being snarky.

Good list. I think AT&T should’ve jumped on the ATTT.com. I bet a lot of people type the extra third consecutive T by mistake. The lost traffic should justify the tiny price.
