A .mobi domain has been sold on the aftermarket. You read that right.
Hell has frozen over: A .mobi domain has sold on the aftermarket.
In the early days of .mobi, a domain extension meant for mobile websites, it made a lot of sense. Companies created entirely separate websites for people accessing sites from the mobile web. Then came responsive design. (It’s hard to believe that was just over a decade ago!)
Now, there’s no need for .mobi domains. But who doesn’t love a nice keyword-rich domain in any old extension?
Check out the .mobi sale below.
Also, I like this week’s top sale, scaffolding.com, and how it was put to use.
And because I didn’t find so many end user sales in Sedo’s list this week, I’ve included some domains that sold at the end of December that have now been developed.
