Here are ten of NameJet’s sales last month that are worth calling out.
NameJet reported 94 sales of $2,000 or more for February, totaling nearly $625,000. Here are ten sales worth noting:
Lows.com $104,501 – How much traffic does this domain name get given the home improvement store (Lowes.com) and the hotel chain (Loews)? My bet is that it’s a lot.
TFS.com $47,250 – Do a Google search and you’ll see how many deep-pocketed end users could be interested in this domain name.
Murphy.com $45,000 – That’s a hefty price for a surname. But it’s a very common one and is used for lots of businesses. Andrew Rosener’s Media Options is now listed in Whois.
Franks.com $26,200 – No big potential end users come to mind, but I imagine the buyer did its homework.
Buffett.com $16,700 – That’s Buffett like the investor, not buffet like the food.
Transporting.com $9,950 – The only issue I see with this domain is the number of permutations: transport, transportation, transporting…
IndustrialAutomation.com $5,099 – I know it’s a long name, but this is becoming an even bigger space thanks to the internet of things.
BankruptcySales.com $3,433 – Not as many search results for this domain as I would have guessed, so perhaps it’s a matter of terminology.
Unplanned.com $3,369 – So many uses. I envision a family services group creating a website for people with an unplanned pregnancy.
Tattoos.tv $2,100 – Watch people getting tattoos, I guess.
