Google Authenticator can now be used to securely log in to GoDaddy.
Effective immediately, customers can use an app-based two-factor authenticator with GoDaddy instead of receiving SMS text messages.
With this second form of authentication, customers enter a secondary code when they log into their accounts. The SMS option sends a one-time code via text message while the new option allows people to use an app on their phone that provides the secondary code.
Additionally, customers can now choose to have two-factor applied every time they log in or just when they are completing high-risk transactions such as password changes.
Instructions for adding 2FA are here. I highly recommend using this feature.
