Cats with Hats commercial helps launch marketing campaign and brand refresh.
GoDaddy launched a new branding and marketing campaign in North America today, using the slogan “Go You. GoDaddy”.
The campaign is marketed squarely at entrepreneurs (often times solepreneurs) and very small businesses of five or fewer employees.
GoDaddy is running a new TV ad that retains the company’s comedic approach to marketing:
You’ll notice some other slight changes to GoDaddy’s site, including new fonts and colors. The GoDaddy logo is losing is “squiggly” font (good riddance):
The company is dropping its “It’s Go Time” slogan that was introduced in 2013. I think the tagline came across as somewhat cliched. (In fact, another company claimed it was using the slogan for hosting services before GoDaddy did.)
The “Go You. GoDaddy” motto does a good job of incorporating the company’s message and its brand, unlike “It’s Go Time”.
