Trademark filing reveals plans for RealDomains.
Do multi-level marketing and domain names mix?
A California company has filed an intent-to-use trademark application for “RealDomains”, and the description of services is interesting.
Multilevel marketing services, namely, providing marketing and income opportunities to others through the monetization of domain names and brand, logo, and trademark development and through the development of marketing organizations…
Education services namely, online and in person classes and seminars on the topic of domain names, how to buy and sell domain names, registration of domain names and trademarks, licensing of domain names and trademarks; Education services namely, online and in person classes and seminars on the topic of marketing and advertising, branding, domain names, trade names, trademarks, logos, trade dress.
The trademark was filed on behalf of Pro Circuit Electric Inc. in Alta Loma, California. That business is owned by Robert Cardoza. RealDomains.com is registered to Redonna Noriega of Personaliz It Inc., which shares an address with Pro Circuit.
Noriega is associated with a number of domain names and a couple of UDRP cases. The name is also connected to a NamesCon profile for BrandPorium.com, which doesn’t resolve.
I reached out to Noriega for a comment last week but did not hear back.
I sold that domain a few months back 😉
I’d be interested to learn more about this company.
