End user sales including a couple new TLDs.

Sedo handled 569 domain name transactions last week for a total of $1.2 million, a pretty solid week for the domain name marketplace.

A number of German companies bought domain names, sometimes finding shorter alternatives to their hyphenated domains. A popular golf equipment company picked up a descriptive domain for used golf clubs, a bath products company bought a creative domain, and the company behind Twix candy bars bought a brand-related domain. A couple new top level domain names were picked up by end users as well.

Here’s a look at end user domain name sales at Sedo from the past week:

HappyBath.com €12,000 – Beauty products company Amore Pacific.

Careforce.ch €5,000 – German medical firm Careforce bought this Swiss country code domain name. It uses the matching .de domain name Carforce.de.

Solarwinds.com.ar $825 – although the whois lists someone else, the nameservers point to Austin IT technology company Solar Winds.

SecondHandGolfClubs.co.uk £2,000 – Golf equipment company John Letters Golf.

Entrepreneur.business $2,500 – Entrepreneur Media bought a domain rather than taking its usual legal approach.

Optics.world $1,999 – The Optics Society, a professional organization for people in the optics and photonics business.

Sparklers.co.uk £895 – UK company Sparklers And Fireworks Ltd.

Toys4u.com $3,800 – The whois record says the buyer is Toys4U, but the actual public name of this chain of toy stores in New York is Toys4USA.

MarsVentures.com $3,244 – Mars, the company that makes candies such as M&Ms and Skittles and pet foods including Nutro.

Van-Conversions.com $1,100 – Camping and RV company REIMO-Reisemobil-Center GmbH returned to Sedo to buy another domain name.

BDCosmetics.com and BHcomsmetics.com $799 each – typosquatting recovery firm CitizenHawk bought these domains on behalf of BHComestics.

ClueHost.com $1,395 – CitizenHawk bought this domain on behalf of Endurance International Group, which owns BlueHost.

SuperYachtSecurity.com €1,000 – i.b.s.® – Internationale Bodyguard- & Sicherheitsagentur e.K bought this domain. This is an security service I don’t currently need. Maybe someday…

ISQGroup.com $1,795 – Engineering consulting firm iSQ, which uses ISQ.pt for its web address.

GoSBR.com $2,744 – Triathlon training group SBR Coaches, which uses the domain name SBRCoaches.com.

Flora.biz €895 – German gardening company Flora, which uses the domain name Flora-Online.de.

PrintSocial.net $1,995 – online printing company Primo, Inc. It doesn’t own the matching .com.

TheVJ.com $3,000 – Rosenblue Associates, which offers video courses and TV production services. VJ stands for Video Jockey.

TennisLive.com €6,000 – Livenetwork, LTD. A quick look shows this company owns at least one more tennis related site, which displays scores.

MVI.co $750 – as best I can tell, German company MVI Group GmbH does tech consulting. Its main web address is solve-it-MVI.com.

EquiposMedicos.com $3,000 – Medical equipment company MedicAll Universe. This means Medical Equipment in Spanish.

MedEnterprises.com $900 – MedRecruit, a placement agency for doctors in Australasia.

HealthInn.com €2,000 – Tradeinn, which operates 13 online sports equipment stores.
