VeriSign among domain buyers this week.
I’m a bit behind on getting the end user sales report out this week, but there are some good ones in here.
One notable purchase is by .com registry VeriSign, which bought a .org domain to match one of its existing .com’s.
All of the sales on this list took place at Afternic except for SharedValue.org, which sold at Sedo…
New York cleaners Fine Line Cleaners found a short domain name with FLC.co for $1,088.
Non-profit consulting group FSG paid $X for SharedValue.org for $5,000 at.
App developer FusionApps bought ClubCashBack.com for $1,475 and PrizeShopping.com for $1,395, presumably for Apps they’re working on.
Heartland Financial USA bought the clever domain SavvyBank.com for $2,188.
Eagle View Remote Video, LLC, which appears to offer security services, bought RemoteVideoSystems.com for $2,188.
Enticing Nights LLC opened a lingerie store online at OnlineLingerie.net for $1,688.
Here’s a clever domain buy from PayStream Advisors, Inc, which helps companies automate purchasing, payables, and financial processes. It bought BillZap.com for $3,288.
Source Interlink Media, which publishes print and web publications primarily related to auto and home technology, bought GeekStyle.com for $1,500.
Here was a necessary acquisition: DiscoverOrg, a provider of IT organizational charts and data for sales purposes, bought Discover.org for $9,000. Its existing domain is DiscoverOrg.com.
In to boat racing? Oracle Racing just bought Team-USA.com for $2,000.
Event producer Marketplace Events paid $1,077 for VitalityShow.com. I wonder if the group is connected to the the UK’s health, beauty, fitness and wellbeing event for women by the same name?
Trucking industry expert witness Lew Grill bought TruckingLitigation.com for $1,395.
American Hospital Association bought DataViewer.com for $8,088 for its DataViewer tool. It currently promotes AHAdataviewer.com.
The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery wants you to make the right decision: it bought BeautifulChoice.com for $1,788.
The Center for Courageous Kids, a medical camp in Kentucky, uses CourageousKids.org as its web site. It bought the .com version for $1,500.
Now here’s a domain that probably got a lot of inquiries, and I assume an end user bought it: ABCMovers.com at $4,000. I think every city has at least one company called ABC Moving or something similar to that. In fact, one by that name just moved my office a few weeks ago.
RideCharge, Inc, which operates the TaxiMagic.com cab booking system, bought RideMagic.com for $1,095.
Columbia Bank in New Jersey bought ColumbiaNJ.com for $1,095.
VeriSign bought iDefense.org for $1,350 from NameMedia. It owns iDefense.com, which forwards to a page about its security solutions.
