Two European domain conferences on tap for later this month.
MeetDomainers is holding two domain name conferences this month in Europe, and each will include a domain auction. If you can’t make it in person, online bidding will be available.
The first conference takes place August 19-21 in Poland at the Sofitel Grand Sopot Hotel. The live domain auction will include 44 domain names, mostly in the Poland country code (.pl). Domains include PR.pl, drinki.pl (drinks), and banany.pl (bananas). Admission is currently 299 EUR including VAT. Sessions will be in English but translators will be available.
The second conference will take place August 26-28 in Manchester, England. The live domain name auction includes mostly .co.uk domain names, including Invoicing.co.uk, Holy.co.uk, and entry.co.uk. Admission is currently 225 GBP.

This is really the year of the domain conferences. Far to many, as far as I am concered.
I assume that next year the number will drop again to a more reasonable number.
MeetDomainers says
You are right that there are too many domain conferences this year. The difference for MeetDomainers is that we target them to different audience.
MeetDomainers is not a global conference, it is rather targeted towards ccTLD domainers. Because of the specific of ccTLD market it is difficult to organize one conference dedicated to all of them. That’s why we decided to organize MeetDomainers in Poland to cover mainly .pl market (this is our third annual conference) but also for the first time we co-organize it with NameDrive in the UK to target .co.uk investors.
Polish domainers rarely go to international domain conferences and I see the same for UK domainers. That’s why we come to them, so they don’t have to travel anywhere 🙂 The other advantage is that we can focus on the specific ccTLD rather than tell nothing about 10 or more TLDs.

Selling at the top…domain market is about to crash. The player are scrambling to unload their inventory…everyone on the inside knows this. Watch.

@Nero Hearing this for a couple of years alredy 🙂 If you buy crap – don’t expect profit. If you invest wisely – there’s money to be made.
