GeoDomain Expo is still affordable, even at the last minute.
Don’t let airfare get in the way of going to next week’s GeoDomain Expo in San Diego. It’s still cheap even at the last minute.
I priced airfares from 3 major U.S. cities to San Diego on Orbitz, arriving Thursday April 23 and leaving Sunday April 26. These prices don’t include taxes and fees.
New York $238 (direct from $338)
Seattle $208 (direct from $278)
Houston $388 (direct from $478)
Registration is still only $695, and there might be some hotel rooms left at $150. If you add it all up, this is the most affordable conference experience you can find.
The conference is targeted to GeoDomain owners and those interested in GeoDomains. I define this as city, state and country domain names (e.g. SanDiego.com), but it also includes long tail domains such as SanDiegoLawyers.com.
At last year’s conference I met eDirectory, which provides the backend for my Lakeway.com site.
The vibe at this conference is different from other shows. Whereas many domainers are just learning about development, GeoDomainers have been developing from the beginning.

Hrmm. I have some fairly shiny geos and SD is only ~2 hours away from me. Might go ;).
