Aftermarket brokers sale of MoneyWatch.com to CNET for $125,000.
Sedo has completed the sale of MoneyWatch.com to CNET for $125,000. CNET was purchased by CBS Networks earlier this year. One of CBS’ programs is called Money Watch. The domain currently forwards to a financial page on CNET’s BNET site.
The domain was previously owned by Washington, D.C.-based Vantix. The domain was then transferred to DNStination, Inc, which is a holding entity that MarkMonitor places domain names into prior to listing them in their customers’ names.
Sedo had other great sales this week, including the web site gmbh.de for 73,185 EUR (roughly $90,000 at today’s exchange rate).

Sedo is currently running another BeNeLux Premium Name Auction of .nl domain names. The highest domain so far is seks.nl (translates to “sex”), which is at 40,000 EUR but the reserve has not been met. The top domain that has met its reserve is partijen.nl (translates to “parties”) at 5,000 EUR.
