The generic domain name Chinese.com has met its reserve at a Sedo auction and will close the morning of July 3. The current high bid is 217,500 EUR, or $293,000 USD at today’s exchange rate. 23 bids have been placed and the auction has been viewed over 7,000 times.
Although Chinese.com is the biggest auction at Sedo right now, the aftermarket has a number of other noteworthy auctions. The other big story is Accounts.com, which has met its reserve at 150,000 EUR or $202,000 USD.
Games.ac has a whopping 60 bids and is currently $25,500. The auction will end today. Celebrity.biz, also ending today, has one bid for $6,700. This is a very high price for a .biz domain name.
An auction for Bookmarks.net has attracted 12 bids and is 10,500 EUR. One.es has a single bid but its 85,000 EUR, or $115,000 USD at today’s exchange rate. Liga.de also has a single bid for 10,000 EUR. Mangas.com is up to $40,000 and still has nine days remaining.
Finally, here’s one worth watching: domains.net. With 11 days to go, the domain has reached $13,520 thanks to 18 bids. The reserve has not been met.
