The final month of 2005 was another good month for PPC earnings at TrafficClub.
If you are a frequent reader of Domain Name Wire you know that I’m a fan of the TrafficClub.com paid parking service. Here are my results from December 2005:
-Overall revenue per 1,000 visitors (RPM) : $31.26. This is down from $44.41 in November, but this is due to adding some domains with high traffic and low click-through rates.
-Domain Sponsor generic lander RPM: $25.41
-Domain Sponsor targeted lander PRM: $29.73
-Google Adsense for Domains RPM: $35.45
-Skenzo RPM: $28.64
Skenzo was added to TrafficClub in December and I’m happy with the addition. Of my sites that received at least 100 visitors in December, my highest RPM was $325.15 and my lowest RPM was $3.68.

Fine looking Numbers Andrew.
Are they gross revenues generated or is that cash in your pocket at the end of the day?
Our best domain does about $350 RPM but that is gross before Yahoo! takes their share. Our average is $100 or so RPM.
Also do you know why the Yahoo! XML Domain lander program is not in the TrafficClub program? Is it that the revenues are so crappy and I need to wake up and get with the program?

These amounts are what I earn after TrafficClub and everyone else takes their cut. I’m not sure why TrafficClub hasn’t added Yahoo yet. I suspect its because Yahoo has such stringent requirements for domain approval. It might prove to be a lot of work with the volume of domains they’re dealing with.

I would be interested in seeing your parked site with TrafficClub if you don’t mind. Currently I have 100 plus sites I would like to park.

TrafficClub rotates adds amoung three programs: Domain Sponsor, Google, and Skenzo. So I can’t guarantee that one of the links below will go to a specific landing page type. But here are some examples:
iCashOnline.com
Protect-Your-Phone.com
CatholicGiving.com

Yahoo Recently dumped their domain addition restrictions. We used to have to beg, plead, send a list and then wait weeks for approval. As of about 6-8 months ago we can now add and remove domains at will.
They claim to have a new ‘technology’ which allows them to dish relevent domain lander ads by analyzing the domain name. It is quite funny what the matches are sometimes…

I just joined TC. How do the optimization %’s work? I show 25% for each of the 4 sponsors now. Also, where can I choose the keywords? I can’t see any place to input that.
Thanks

Optimization will happen after the domain gets enough traffic. It will constantly change, but expect to see the 25% numbers change over the next couple weeks. As for inputting keywords, I don’t think that feature is available anymore. You’ll probably find that all of the programs automatically optimize the keyword within about a week.
