DNJournal’s sales chart this week is aptly named “Sales Explosion Hits Domain Industry With Over 20 Five-Figure Deals This Week”.
And what a week it was! Not only did CashFlow.com sell for $56,500 at Sedo, but Sedo also sold HotDate.com for $55,000.
Pool.com sold Infra.com for $15,500. I bring this up because Pool seems to be rebounding from its drop catching slump. A number of the expiring domains I’ve backordered recently have been won by Pool. Thankfully, Pool nixed its two-phase auction system to make it easier for users.
.info domain names had a great week to, going for as high as $7,772 for a German word. One sale that surprises me is Dating-24.info at €1,000 — I haven’t seen may four figure sales of .infos with a hyphen!
Clearly, the domain name aftermarket is as hot as ever.
