Boyd playing a winning hand with domain name.
The World Series of Poker has begun, and that means World Series of Poker bracelet winner Russ “Dutch” Boyd is hitting the poker tables. But regardless of how well he does this year, he’s already looking like a winner thanks to a domain he has on auction at Sedo right now: cured.com.
Boyd dabbles in domain names when he’s not bluffing his poker opponents. He also made it out to the TRAFFIC conference in Las Vegas earlier this year (it was a short drive, after all).
But Boyd says Cured.com will be his biggest win in the domaining world. It has a bid at Sedo for $25,000 and the auction runs until June 10.
Granted, Boyd has had other types of wins with domain names. He won a 2008 UDRP decision and even a reverse domain name hijacking charge against the complainant. Boyd, who graduated from law school at the age of 18, represented himself in that arbitration.

Thanks for the writeup Andrew! I owe you a beer next time you’re in Vegas.
If any of your readers are here in Vegas for the WSOP, hit me up. Always cool meeting other domainers… and maybe we could get a little pickup game where we play for domain names. 😀

Slow news day Andrew lol

Great domain name for sure! This one will likely get several more bids. It looks like Dutch only got it last March 25th, so a fairly quick flip.

Cured.com is a great domain.
I was the director of naturalcures.com and I know first hand the kind of revenue you can generate with a domain like that.
