AIG among domain name buyers last week.
It was a very international week for Sedo, which disclosed 47 country code domain sales over $2,000. That’s more than twice the number of .coms! It was helped a lot by the .AT auction, but that only explains some of it. In fact, the top sale was Lampara.es for €36,000. Lampara is Spanish for lamp. The domain name is still in escrow.
The biggest buyer this past week was the insurance company AIG, which bought a four-word domain name that matches one of its brands.
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
