Hold on just a minute…
Amicus Trade AB has been trying to get the domain name Holdon.com for its Holdon brand of fasteners since at least 1999.
That’s when the company sent a letter to the (then) owner of the domain with an offer to buy it.
Ownership of the domain has changed multiple times since then according to Whois record. In 2013 the whois changed to Dharshinee Naidu. According to DomainTools, Naidu’s email address is associated with 36,544 domain names.
Amicus Trade tried to contact Naidu with no success.
So in 2014, a long 15 years after first trying, Amicus Trade filed a UDRP against Holdon.com. It won, and can now upgrade its domain from Holdon.info to Holdon.com.
Naidu didn’t respond to the UDRP, and the panelist ordered the domain name transferred to Amicus despite the domain’s generic nature.

Ridiculous decision!
This person Dharshinee Naidu owns some really top domains like Dubai.com, WN.com, WorldNews.com and many others. Really surprising to see they didn’t responded.

Good decision. reselling of domains must be prohibited. IT is nothing short of extortion. Buying for peanuts and expecting millions.

No response is not the message to send out to press gangs

The trouble with such Cases/Decisions is that it then makes it much much harder for EVERYONE. It means that more companies will think “why buy the domain, let’s just issue a UDRP” . It is worth a shot and if you win you win and if you don’t its only cost you ,is it $1500 ?.

Agreed with what was said up there, D Naidu still bids at namejet I have been up against him a few times, and he does not like to lose, he will push it up thousands at a time, careless of them not to respond.
