Company to refund monthly fees paid so far this year.

Upstart domain name registrar OpusDNS has changed its pricing model, eschewing monthly fees and tiers. It’s even refunding all monthly fees paid so far this year.
The company previously charged up to $129 per month and offered its lowest prices to customers who paid the highest monthly fee.
While OpusDNS was founded by veterans of the domain reseller business and built its platform to handle resellers, it can also be used by individual domain registrants. Domain investors often use reseller platforms.
The registrar has grown to 350 customers and 250,000 domains since it launched in October 2025.
OpusDNS is not publishing its full price list, suggesting that prices are negotiable depending on the customer’s needs. But it is promoting transfer-in specials that last until the end of September, including $10.10 for .com, $11.10 for .org and .net, $80 (times two years) for .ai, and $2.10 for .de.
