Key creator of the internet joins Innovation Labs Advisory Board.

Vint Cerf, one of the “fathers of the internet”, is advising Identity Digital’s effort to use DNS for AI agent identification.
Innovation Labs, a division of Identity Digital focused on building its so-called DNSid, announced Cerf’s involvement today.
Cerf co-designed TCP/IP protocols and the basic architecture of the internet. He also helped fund and establish ICANN.
This month, he retired from a job at Google at the age of 83.
He joins five other advisors, including David Conrad, former CTO of ICANN, and Paul Sagan, former CEO of Akamai.
Identity Digital has proposed a standard for using DNS to offer “Birth Certificates for AI Agents.” Other domain companies, including GoDaddy, are involved with pushing DNS as a solution to agent identity.
