Domains registered to a real estate investment firm in receivership are on the auction block.
A handful of real estate and financial themes are available in a receivership auction that ends Thursday.
The domains were registered by EquiAlt, which the SEC said was running a Ponzi scheme. The domains, along with other assets, are being auctioned with proceeds earmarked for the victims.
Some of the domains are hyperspecific, such as domains related to one of EquiAlt’s properties. Others are more generic, such as DeferredTaxFund .com, IncomePortolio .com, and FloridaCoastalResorts .com.
I don’t see any spectacular domains in the lots, but there might be some opportunities, especially because some lots start at just $5.
