Interesting point about offering long leases. If the buyer defaults, we might get the domain back with a “new” history and backlinks. The only thing that worries me a bit about offering up to 60 months LTO is the risk of UDRPs during that long time.
Yes, for me personally, I’ll max out at 25 months.
I’ve had crypto scammers abuse a few domains cause the monthly payments were so low they intended to just runs a scam on them for 2 months. I’m guessing he lucked out with his 60 month LTO, cause he has mostly longer 2 word domains, rater than short brandables
“Inevitable domain names” – cool new concept, though ripe for self-delusion.
Yeah, I love the name. Just make sure it’s really inevitable 🙂
I have a gift for naming myself, but no credit to me. See James 1:17.
One time I went out to dinner with a friend who was struggling about what to do with life. After talking in the restaurant, a certain name came to mind that was perfect. We rushed back to her place and I got on Go Daddy to get it for her asap in .com.
In no time at all she had a business going well on it, her services were hired by a famous local (huge major metro) TV news anchor, who then gave got her a huge “news” profile of her business on the TV news.
Was very gratifying to me as you can imagine. One of her clients left her millions, so she then abandoned the business and retired, eventually moving to Florida.
PS: it was a 3 word .com, a super perfect one.
