First quarter of year showed spike in domain transactions.

Escrow.com has surpassed $8 billion in handled transactions, the company disclosed. In a Q1 market report for parent company Freelancer Limited (ASX: FLN OTCQX: FRLCY), the company said it passed the milestone earlier this year.
Total domain sales in Q1 were $128 million, up nearly 20% compared to the same quarter a year ago. It’s the highest quarterly dollar volume since Q1 2023.
The company said domain “valuations continue to rise as companies leverage domains as a point of differentiation in the increasingly AI centric business environment.”
Escrow.com is also working on the customer experience and has implemented improvements to automate backend payments. It’s also working on moving the Escrow.com front end to the Freelancer tech stack, which it hopes to complete this quarter.
