The registrars were late on accreditation payments, and don’t appear to have been active.
ICANN has sent termination notices to seven domain name registrars.
The organization sent breach notices to HaveaName, Netestate, TopSystem, OpenName, NeuDomain, MisterNic, and InstantNames in February, informing them that they were late on accreditation fees. (InstantNames is not affiliated with Instant Labs, which is newly accredited.)
None of the registrars responded to the notices.
All of the registrars appear to have common ownership, with the contact listed as Alexey Gromov.
It doesn’t appear that any domain registrants will be impacted. None of the registrars are currently accredited with Verisign to sell .com domain names, and several of the registrar sites have expired SSL certificates.
