Company known for its fast search tools is expanding its product portfolio.
Instant Domain Search is one of my favorite sites for checking domain availability. As the name suggests, it almost instantaneously tells you what’s available for a keyword, along with similar aftermarket domains:

This week, it launched a new tool called Check Domain Availability. While the normal search tells you what’s available for a particular keyword, the new tool shows you details about a particular domain:
- If it’s available, registered, or listed on a marketplace
- How many extensions it’s taken in
- List of up to 12 TLDs it’s available in
- Site preview if the domain is in use
- Registrar pricing to buy the domain through multiple registrars
- If the domain is taken and not for sale, it shows similar domains available on the aftermarket, as well as AI-suggested alternatives
Instant Domain Search is now rolled into a parent company called Instant Labs.
The company is an ICANN-accredited registrar and has launched a registrar in closed beta. The registrar is designed to integrate with developer tools, agency workflows, etc. It should be available to the public later this year, along with an API for domain data lookups.
